Children often have amazing talents. Some are brilliant footballers, dancers, gymnasts or actors. However, I’ve never met a unicyclist before! One of our children in 5th class asked to bring in her unicycle to school to show the rest of her class. Just before the end of the day, she cycled around our PE room to the delight of her classmates! All the children hummed circus music and clapped and cheered throughout the performance. It’s moments like these that children will always remember in their school lives and why we as teachers love our jobs!
