In 5th and 6th class we are currently learning about Native Americans.
We learned that the Native Americans created Totem poles. Totem poles are monumental sculptures carved on poles, posts, or pillars with symbols or figures made from large trees, mostly western red cedar, by indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest coast of North America.
We created our own Totem Poles in our table groups for art.
